The Theme Week (27 January - 2 February), held in association with the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and the World Health Organization (WHO), will explore the relationship between mental and physical wellness, and the enabling role of quality access to health care and technology in reaching the last mile and building healthy societies.Įxpo’s eighth Theme Week, the event will comprise various panel discussions across the site, including the Health and Wellness Business Forum on 1 February at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo 2020. Stakeholders from across the global health ecosystem will gather to highlight and progress towards resilient health care systems fit for all. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic that revealed the strengths and weaknesses of our global health system will underpin much of the conversation at Expo 2020 Dubai’s upcoming Health and Wellness Week. The Ministry is also entrusted with regulating the media sector in the UAE by formulating and implementing legislation, regulations, and standards for licensing media and media activities. The Ministry’s key mandates include investing in youth and empowering them and building a knowledge-based economy for a sustainable future. It provides a platform for artists and innovators, promotes cross-cultural dialogue, and delivers dynamic productions and experiences that represent the UAE’s rich and eclectic culture on national as well as international level. The Ministry of Culture and Youth works to enrich the cultural ecosystem of the UAE by supporting the country’s cultural, art and heritage institutions. While showcasing new and upcoming technological innovations and their impact on social interactions, the pavilion also presents a variety of traditional and cultural performances, including Korean folk performances. It also highlights the changes that innovations will bring about in both the virtual and real worlds. It showcases the new means of mobility that would help create a more connected society in the future. The Korean Pavilion offers an interactive experience sharing across real and virtual environments. The pavilion reflects South Korea’s progress in the field of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the country’s adoption of the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality and the Internet of Things. ![]() She met with Ahn Yoo-seok, the head of the South Korean Pavilion, who explained the concept of the pavilion which is based on the theme “Smart Korea - Moving the World to You”. ![]() The pavilion’s unique design features 1,597 cubes on a dynamic façade that constantly changes through the course of the day. During her tour of the pavilion she was introduced to various cultural highlights of the East Asian nation and while also giving a glimpse of the innovative technologies developed in Korea and the country’s vision for the future. The pavilion, which is ranked among the top five participating international pavilions at the Expo is a cultural showcase of the Republic of Korea.
